When should an agency ask a family for a review?

Choose a consistent milestone after the family has experienced the service, such as a completed placement and check-in. Use the same rule for satisfied and dissatisfied clients. A polite request with a direct link is enough; the family should be free to decline or describe the experience in its own words.

02

What wording makes the request easy to act on?

Try: “If you would like to share your experience with our agency, here is our review link. An honest account of the process helps other families understand what to expect.” Keep the note brief, include one direct link, and avoid suggested star ratings, scripted praise, or pressure to mention a staff member.

03

How can the request become a repeatable process?

Assign the request to a specific follow-up step, record that it was sent, and make at most one courteous reminder. Invite private feedback through a separate channel, but do not send only happy clients to the public review link. Keep children, household details, and candidate identities out of suggested public copy.
